Here's what we know. Some feature designs are in line with other Volvo models, such as the Thor headlights, C-shaped taillights, 12.3-inch touchscreen Pivi Pro System, Google integration and more. It also has Volvo's lowest carbon footprint to date. The EX30 uses recycled materials, and climate-neutral electricity sources in its manufacturing facility. And when the vehicle has reached its prime, 95% of its content can be recycled.
As far as features, the EX30 will have a night mode that dims all but the most vital information to remove the majority of distractions - and further the minimalistic style of the dash. Up next is a soundbar that spans the width of the dashboard. Due to this intriguing design decision, there are no speakers located in the front door structure, allowing more space for storage.
As you've come to expect based on Volvo's rich history regarding safety, safety is once again a big focus. New features are being rolled out as part of the 2025 EX30, such as more robust auto-braking features, cyclist detection, attention sensors that monitor eye movements and an added airbag located on the inboard side of the driver's seat. The airbag will reduce head and torso injuries in the event of a side collision. If it has to do with safety, you can expect Volvo to take it to the next level - and the EX30 is no different.
